Pulling my hair out over replacing countertops....CAN ANYONE RECOMMENT A CONTRACTOR????
The granite place we found doesnt remove or install backsplashes so we have to find someone to do that. They will do the cut outs in the granite for the sink and the cook top on the isalnd, but won't remove or install them. So ***....do we hire one contractor to do the project, or just have 3 different places doing 3 different things at the same time. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that's really weird. why don't you call a few other granite places and see if they can do what you need. I wouldn't want to deal with all these different companies.

they don't have a subcontractor to refer you to?
If it were me, I would probably get 3 different people

I would call another granite place personally that does all of the work.

Re: Pulling my hair out over replacing countertops....CAN ANYONE RECOMMENT A CONTRACTOR????
We used Napoli in Seaford and were very satisfied.
They removed our old countertops (for a price of course) and then installed the new ones.
They had a nice selection too. My parents just used them as well and were satisfied too.
They are in Merrick Road in Seaford.
They also sell tiles for backsplashes, but they have a list of recommended dealers for the installation part. We ended up buying our tiles at Cancos in Merrick.
We found a tile guy in the Pennysaver and were pleased with him. He took down the old tiles and installed new ones.
