Has anyone had a BIGGG gigantic tree cut down at their house? Can you recommend the service that did it? Please give general price range for your tree... BTW - We are doing this for structural reasons

We used Omni tree service. I dont know the phone number though.

If you click on the home board there is a thread right now where someone just got a HUGE blue spruce removed from her yard. I think she said it was $600 for it to be removed and they planted a new, smaller tree there and that was part of the price.

We used Green Island Tree Service Corp. 516-731-0033
We got quotes from a several companies and Green Island gave us the best quote. My parents have a HUGE tree and they were quoted $900 to take it down and grind the stump. Make sure whoever you use is insured and licensed.

We used Affordable Tree Service - They charged us $750 to remove 9 trees and large bushes - One tree was Huge....and Got tangled in the wires....
They didnt take the stumps though. We didnt know that. I am having tree services come by now to give me estimates to remove them.
Affordable wants $175 to take out the stumps or grind them.
