I hope she feels better . Jacob is jsut getting over his first sickness-the stomch bug.. It has been a lon week but he is finally getting back to normal..

Awwwww, I hope Bella feels better! Alex got a bad cold the first week I put her in daycare too. If it's any consolation, Alex has been getting 2-3 colds a month now that she's in daycare, but now her body is getting better at adjusting so that the cold only lasts 1-2 days. My pediatrician said we can expect that she'll come home with a cold 2-3 times a month until April!

Beth, my doc said the same exact thing. I can only hope this will be a building block to a better immune system...
It's a little stressful though, because the only back-up we have is me taking off work. DH doesn't get paid if he takes the day off 
I feel your pain, I really do. We don't have any family to take care of Alex when she's sick so I either work from home (which is really a farce, I mean, really, how much work can you get done while caring for a baby??) or Dh stays home. It does get better though - if she has a mild cold, I bring her to daycare and they let me know if she's ok to stay or bring home. Most of the time they'll take her if it's just a mild cold and no runny nose...
