a question about chromosone testing we had done

Ok after my 2nd mc we have all sorts of chromosone blood work taken and it all cam back normal ( except for my MTHFR) and so i am wondering does that mean they ruled out that we are carriers for things or is it like gentic counseling basically the test they ran on us. sorry for allthese questions tonight

after mine, they did test for chromosomal abnormalities and like you, everything came back normal. my doc said, however, that it was not a subsitute for genetic testing, as they were only looking for specific abnormalities. if i wanted more indepth analysis, we would have gone thru genetic testing. we opted not to have it done, since it was our first miscarriage and luckily we got pregnant again soon after.
