Moms who sell baby items

Do you have better luck with ebay or craigslist?

I personally find craig's list easier because Ionly do cash and carry and don't have to worry about delivery. I also honestly havenot found time to figure ebay out. Craig's List is pretty simple. I sold a jumperoo. Imet the girl at a local Starbucks she gave me the cash and even sendme a huge thank you email with a pic of the baby in it.

It depends. I honestly find that I earn more money with Ebay, but making the listing and posting pictures and dealing with shipping afterwards can sometimes be more of a hassle than it's worth. With Craig's list all it takes is a phone call or two and you've got a person picking the item up within the next few days. Much easier/faster, but often less money.

Re: Moms who sell baby items

same here, Im lucky if i can remember when our library books are due, I can never keep track of ebay items and just hte thought of packing and shipping, no way.

and when I look at what items sell for on ebay, I can prob get the same price on craigslist, so why bother with the extra work of shipping and then giving ebay a cut ?

im sure ebay has MANYMANY plusses, such a huge audience, if you have the patience, of course you might get more on some items, but always check the same item (from another seller) to see what its going for, if you plan to go ebay.

i've used ebay but never even thought of craigslist.

So what do you do generally? Meet the person somewhere like pp mentioned?

I'd might be too paranoid that a creep would show up

I've only sold things on ebay but it could be a PITA to ship, I hate waiting so I usually do a buy it now. I'm asking b\c I listed some things on craigslist for cheap and thought they'd go but nothing. I thought maybe the demand wasn't so great on LI. When I see used Bumbos on ebay for upwards of 30.00 and I'm looking for $15.00 I'm likeChat Icon

I'd be feaked about weirdos too. I always call someone when the peapod truck comes just in case.

I never heard of Craigslist. Ebay can be a PITA with shipping and all but you make good $$ back.

Re: Moms who sell baby items

I'm selling an eddie bauer bouncy seat, a graco bouncy seat, a sunshine symphony toy, my bumbo, a fisher price activity gym.

I've just been donating the clothes but if anyone's interested Roman is growing out of his 3-6 month clothes and shoes.

I'll be selling his 2 graco car seats bases and stroller in a couple of months when he grows into his carseat.
