Going for my 1st sono and my Dh cant make it....
I totally unsderstand that he cant get out of this meeting but i am still disapointed. he is going to come on monday to the new dr but tomorrow is the FIRST sono so if god forbid something is wrong i kind of wish he was going to be there. wish me luck girls....TIA

I definitely can relate and I know how nervous you are going to be, but I'm sure all is going to be just fine...
I haven't gone to my 1st appointment/sono yet and my DH won't be able to come with me either, he has an OOT trip that he simply cannot change around, and I understand that ... so I DO totally understand what you are going thru sweetie!
Hang in there, I will pray that eveyrthing goes smoothly for you tomorrow !!

I also know exactly how you feel as my DH wasn't able to be there with me for my first sono or even my second.
Instead, I took my mom along with me...is that possible for you to do too? Or a sister or really close friend? I know it's not going to be the same as if your DH was there...but, maybe the support of your mom, a sister or a good friend will be good enough.

unfortunatley we arent telling anyone til after the sono so its hard to get anyone to go with us since they dnt know

Everything will be okay for you tomorrow, I just know it
Dh came with me for the 1st one, he didn't know what he was looking at, he yes and nodded at the dr but i knew he had no clue what the dr was pointing out. There's really not too much to see.
THE next couple ones you have he should be there for, i'm sure he'd wouldn't want to miss it for the world!
fjbaby has a good point, is there anyone that can go with you for support and to share the joy?

DH missed mine because it was totally last minute due to anxieteies I was having. There will be more and you'll get pictures to bring home to him.

DH didn't come to my first sono either.....but he saw the pics and came to the 15 week one and was amazed to see her moving!
