Having a hard time finding a thread...
I know that a few months ago there was a thread of song suggestions for someone's Baby Shower CD....and we want to make a CD of songs that kinda represent Emily for her birthday favors -- wanted to get started on it now -- so I'm looking like crazy for the thread and can't find it.
I did find some Christening threads but it's the baby shower one that I'm looking for most...
So far the songs that we have on the "list" are...

Lovable by Sam Cooke
Happy Birthday by Bear in the Big Blue House 
Isn't she Lovely by Stevie Wonder

Does anyone else have any other song suggestions?
This is what we're thinking so far!
1. Mashed Potatoes by ALO (basically a hippie song by a band we've travelled out of state a few times to see pre-baby about how the lead singer needs his daughter so much -- for hugs a nd also to smear mashed potatoes all over his face with her when he gets too stressed out.
2. Lovable by Sam Cooke
3. Happy Birthday by Stevie Wonder
4. Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder
5. Father & Daughter by Paul Simon (I cried when I was just reminded of that song!)
6. Baby Mine - from Dumbo

There is an awesome song by Barry Manilow (I know, I know.........) called, "I am Your Child." You should listen to it and see what you think.

I know there is "Beauiful Boy" from My Holland's Opus but I'm thinking there might be a version with "Beautiful Girl"
