I should be... especially after having the first of many breakdowns last night... but i choose to quell the pain with alcohol. I'm going wine tasting! Chat Icon

Hope your weekend is more productive than mine!

I wish I was :( but I don't have a class to plan for. Make sure you leave something fun in those sub folders........usually sub's can use all the help we can get.

I have one request of all full time teachers.

Please, please, please, tell your students to refrain from saying "that is not how Mrs./Mr. so and so does it" that is the most annoying statement to hear as a sub.

Isn't it funny how the tiniest detail is what bothers me, lol!! I have to laugh at myself for that, but for some reason that just gets me. Chat Icon Chat Icon

I have soooo much to do!!!

I have 7 different "classes" to do work for - set up my grade book, set up folders. 3 different subjects to do lesson plans for. I already put on a pot of coffee!!

I had 3 loads of laundry washed and folded and all of the ironing done by 9:30. now I have to clean the rest of the house and shop for maternity clothes todayChat Icon but I am so tired.

Tomorrow is going to be nothing but schoolwork. ALL DAY!!

Grade 40 AP summer projects that came in on Wednesday.

Prep my three courses for the week including hw sheets, retyping some notes onto overhead, making up three different geography quizzes.

Fill in my lesson plan book which I didn't do this week.

Sub plans for Economics, Global and World AP courses.

Oh yeah and everyone tells me to take it easy because I'm pg. Trust me, I want toChat Icon

I am so tired today- the week kicked my butt!

I want to do all my plans for the week, and I have one set of baseline writing pieces to evaluate. Lots of odds-and-end type things to do to, and I want to do a couple field trips for next month. Plus housework.

I'm excited, though- my kids are wonderful, for the most part.

Re: So, I guess the teachers here are REALLY loving the weekend!

unfortunately I already had to put my sub plans together.
my best friend who is also a teacher in my school lost her dad to a sudden heart attack- 58 yrs old...
this happened after the first day of school...

so needless to say my mind hasnt been into school- trying to help her out (she has two kids) and I am already taking off on Monday- the day when all of my academics begins...

and I have SO much to do for school!
