Opinion for Xmas gift
I few months ago i told DH that instead of getting me a whole bunch of things, i would like a Louis Vuitton bag (its around $600)
Now, w/ all the fall stuff around and seeing what i need, i think i want to get lots of things instead of one.
What would you do?

Personally, I'd rather get a bunch of smaller things than just 1 bag. But that's just me.

I would go for the bag and here is why.
I would never go out to LV and buy it for myself. NEVER.
But I would go to the store and pick up a few pieces of clothing here and there. Get one or two pieces a week and by Christmas time you will have both the clothes and the bag.
Also you can easily hint to your family or other people you exchange gifts with that you need clothes, so GC's to your favorite stores would be really appreciated this year.

Depends how much you like the bag. If you LOVE the bag, I would definitely say the bag. I want a Kooba, but haven't worked up the courage to tell DH (he is very anti $$$ bags).

I got one as a gift from my boss and it was definitely something I would never ever bought myself no matter how much I want it and DH wouldnt get it for me unless I BEGGED AND BEGGED!

I'm going to be a bad influence. I say tell him you want the bag, but you need new clothes now for the fall. By the time Xmas rolls around, he might have forgotten he paid for your clothes and just get you the bag anyways, so it is a win/win situation.
