etd to clarify.

I won't post intimate details about my sex life (it's really not that interesting anyway...at least now it's notChat Icon )

I think the Pregnancy Board is open season on bodily functions & changes. I think there are way too many things that change during that time that anyone should be able to ask anything.

depends what the topic is...

but if it's on the relationship board, I would say my limit would be divulging too much info (intimacy related). sometimes I post and then go Chat Icon Chat Icon WHY did I just say that? it's my business! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Probably not what you are looking for, but I try to limit anything that would make me personally identifyable to the outside world.

I learned that lesson the hard way. Someone was able to piece bits of information together about me several months ago to get my personal email address and harass me.

I'm not sure if I've succeeded, but I'm much more hesitant about names and pictures than I was before.

Re: what do you think is TMI to post in a website?

Um, it's hard to explain what I consider TMI. Personally, there's not much I won't share about MYSELF. I try not to share anything too personal about JT or my family members. If it's me, I don't care because I am only accountable to myself. If that makes sense.

Hmm... I won't just randomly post information about myself, but it a question is asked, I'll answer it honestly, regardless of how "TMI" it is. If it's something I'd rather not discuss, I'll avoid the thread all-together.

Ditto. I don't post names or pictures really, but I'll answer questions.

I definitely try not to post anything about my family or DH's family. I'm a pretty open person so information about me I don't mind posting.

Re: what do you think is TMI to post in a website?

I used to be much more open and learned my lesson. I keep my daughter private. I keep most things about my hubby private now- though long time members may know a lot more because I was an open book about himChat Icon I keep things about my home and most things about my students private. So I guess I only post the basics now. I will offer advice on anything that I have BTDT but honestly the more private it is, I either answer it in FM or I don't at all.-- Sad actually, it was nice to share. But to know that things can be used against you because someone likes to tell lies, I won't or to know that people will take matters off this site and actually take it to the level of bringing it into someone's home is just too much!
