Silly Question about selling
If I sell the co op and didn't say that the entertainment center that is on the wall or my flower pots outside are not staying with the house does that mean i have to leave it for the new owner? I didn't think so but now I'm wondering maybe I should be more specific about what is staying. The last person to see it was really interested in both of those things. little things but still mine. Thanks..lol

Re: Silly Question about selling
FRom what I understand it's understood that wall or ceiling mount light fixtures, any built ins, and window treatments are staying.
Anything else is an assumption by the buyers and is not normally included unless the seller says.

Re: Silly Question about selling
if it's "attached" to the house/apartment then its assumed to be staying upon sale. but if it's an entertainment center, etc then i think it's pretty obvious to most buyers that its decorative and going with the homeowner when they leave.
i once sold a house where we did the final walk thru and all the little trees in the back of the house were gone! apparently they were planted by the homeowners late mother and he wanted to take them with him. however, it wasnt mentioned on the listing as an exclusion therefore he had to give the buyer back money at closing!
