Chocolate

Is it really bad to have some everyday?

The last couple of weeks I have just been craving chocolate like crazy. I had the same cravings with my son.

What's really bad about chocolate? I know the sugar isn't really good, but what else? Thanks!

Re: Chocolate

As terrible as this sounds, I had a good amount of chocolate during my pregnancy and had no problems.

Re: Chocolate

Chocolate has caffeine in it...Thats why its considered bad...Its fine as long as your not having HUGE amounts every single day

I like your way of thinking!!

You have to rationalize the bad stuff and make it seem good!!!! Chat Icon

Re: Chocolate

I've eaten plenty of chocolate. I don't think it has THAT much caffeine that it would be a problem. The only problem for me is that it has helped contribute to my growing a$$! Chat Icon

Re: Chocolate

I ate TONS of it when I was pg. I just couldn't help myself- hot chocolate every day in the morning with a chocolate crossant, salt bagle with chocolate chip cream cheese for lunch, chocolate ice cream and lots of chocolate candy in between. My Chat Icon is 3 weeks old now and is very happy and healthy. I have heard that eating chocolate helps to make your baby happy and calm. Worked for me! Chat Icon
