I know it is 2-morrow but I have some time to post now.. Sept. 15, 2005~ 20 weeks before my lil one was born. A little long..
It was September 15th 2005 and I was going for my level 2 sono. Right after the sono tech announced we were having a girl, she became overly concerned then went on to tell me that I had to get to the hospital ASAP, my cervix should have measured at 4 cm (length wise) and mine was at 1 cm.. Which means if I would have waited any longer I was about to have this baby. So I went to the hospital through emergency and the Dr came into the room and told me that the next a.m. I was getting a cerclage put in. I had no idea what to expect I just cried, I was so worried about the baby, and of course right before the surgery they have to tell you the worst, but to stay positive because this surgery is done all the time.. The surgery was only about 20 min. The worst part was the spinal shot, and then finding out that the most movement I could do was use the bathroom and shower.. All I have to say is thank god I have the best husband, family and friends, because I was so lost for those 17 Weeks, everyone was so helpful, I love them all for that! It was such a difficult time a lot of high risk Dr visits, internals, and over-nites in the hospital to stop contractions I am just so blessed that she is healthy and they caught my incompetent cervix in time, if I am blessed again and get pregnant I will have to go through the same thing at 12 Weeks... Thanks for letting me share, I just can't believe that a year has gone by..

We are so proud of you! You are a fabulous Mom and you were never negative-nor did you complain! Even though I know you were nervous and at times scared. We love you and Gia more than you know- you came through like a champ
