what questions do I ask...

My husband and I are planning on trying this summer. I made an appointment with my doctor for my yearly checkup but I want to ask some questions now. Any suggestions? I'll take even the most obvious ones.

I asked some basic questions like what i should be doing now that i am planning on TTC, any foods/drinks to avoid, can i still have a few drinks while i am TTC. She answered all of my questions and also gave me a prenatal vitamin to start with.

Honestly she told me to go about the same way I was living then but to stop smoking (I didn't) if i did and not to get wasted drunk. She also advised me that I should be looking to eat healthy now so that when i do get pregnant it won't be a sudden change.

She also gave me advice on what to do when I got a positive test and when they would see me and what the first appointment would be like.

They were very helpful and answered every question i had.
