Another credit card question-What would you do?
A few weeks ago, DH dropped his c/c and someone had fun with it. We cancelled the card and they issued us a new one and have reversed all the charges including all of the finance charges we earned because we paid the whole bill minus the fraud. Anyway, as I said, they reversed the charges, but for some reason, i think they reversed a charge twice. Would you call and tell them about this?
This happened once with my checking account, when they posted a deposit twice. I went down there and told them they credited my account an extra $65 and to take it out because it wasn't mine. They never reversed it.
So, what would you do?

I think I'd let them find their own error.

Re: Another credit card question-What would you do?
Normally I would say call them, but recently I called my CC company when I thought my # might have been stolen to avoid any theft or fraud. I asked them to close the acct. and open a new one, so no one would be able to charge anything. In a nutshell, this resulted in a lot of aggravation on my part and them cancelling the new account a month later with no warning or explanation why. I am so aggravated by the whole thing. Sometimes, I think when you try to correct small things, they turn into big hassles and the CC company screws it up even more!
OK vent over

Re: Another credit card question-What would you do?
It probably would cause problems in the long run, they may end up reversing all the charges again. I'd just ignore it.
