Pains when breathing?
Lately I have been feeling not really pain, but deep pressure when I breathe in, all around my rib cage. Could this be from the way I'm sleeping? Or is it just a normal part of preg?

Re: Pains when breathing?
some of the ligaments that attach to your uterus are up by your rib cage. You're probably feeling the stretching and pulling of the ligaments as your uterus expands.
(this is how my Dr explained it to me when I asked her why I had occasional pain up under my ribs)

Re: Pains when breathing?
You might want to ask your doctor about the pain, but with my last pregnancy my OB told me that with everything getting all squished up in there it would be hard to breathe, and then my regular doctor told me that the body naturally routes some of your oxygen to the baby so it seems harder to breathe.

I think its totally normal. I find it hard to have a regular conversation. I get so winded, you think I had just climb a million stairs!
