Now I don't mind the actual football game...
Now I don't mind the actual football game... but it's the 3 days of pregame coverage leading up to the game that kills me! 
Turn it off already, you can turn it back on 1/2 hour before. PLEASE ?!?!?!?

I never understood why a game that lasts a couple of hours needs to be pre-analyzed for at aleast a day before and then post analyzed for the rest of the week
I didn't grow up in a football household and am so thankful that my DH barely watches sports. I don't know how you girls do it. I'd go crazy.

My brother is throwing a "Jets opening day party" today. I say I am a Jets fan for dh. I admit though, im more excited to see friends and family for the "Party" part.

Hubby left bright and early this morning for his brother's all-day festivities! I actually like football season - I get a day to myself and TONS of stuff done!

I could understand some postgame, some pregame. But they just end up playing the same bits over and over and over.
The segment that they played on the today show on Thursday morning about the Manning brothers' mother will be the same segment they'll play at 11AM, 3PM, and then 6PM.
Now, on ESPN..... Dr Phil is analyzing football players!
