Fun Things We Do At Work
Some of us here have started to bring in some home cooked dishes that we make and let someone try their recipe. Then we swap recipes.
I started with my meatballs, my boss brought in his lasanga (not traditional) and then I brought in my lasagna and cupcakes.
We're all starting to do this so we get to try different things and we save a bit of money on lunch. We are having a great time doing it and it feels good to share.
Anyone else do something like this or something else that's fun?

on this floor we have a few people that always talk and see each other so we've all gotten friendly. I work in a giant firm-this only works because of the few people we do it with.
Any other fun things at work?

How about switching the mouse and keyboard cables on the back of people's computers? Then neither of them work. Fun ensues.
Then you can put hand cream on someone's mouthpiece on their phone. Then call them.
We also used to have a conference system on our phone where you could dial one extension, press conference, dial another extension, and conference those two people together. If you did it quick before they picked up their phones, they both think that the other person is calling them.
It's a fun thing to listen to.

How telling is it that the only way I have fun at work is at the expense of others?
I got my hands on an official looking TPS report and distributed them on April Fool's Day. The people who knew what a TPS report was kept their mouths shut and let the others try to figure out why they had this mystery report in their inboxes.

Every now and then we have "game time" at lunch. Whoever wants to participate eats in the training room and we play games like pictionary, cranium, etc.
Thats the only thing I can think of!

Sometimes we have potluck lunch, we think of a theme and everyone brings something in. I alos love that we have a cooki swap during the holidays. We each bring in a few dozen and an empty container, then we get to take a bunch of cookies home.

That's right, I forgot, we're having a Thanksgiving thing. Everybody makes something and we pretty much do no work and eat all day.
We do the same for Christmas, and have a grab-bag...

How do you know how many people are participating? 27 people could give her a dollar, you win, she hands you 3 bucks.

no everyone puts there name on the dollars"1 dollar each" and if she collects for instance $27 than friday that person who name gets pulled out wins the $27. How cool is that.
