UPDATE RE: bleeding/abruption/hemmorage
We had the ultrasound yesterday to determine if I had a hemmorage or abruption to the placenta. They didn't find any hemmorage or anything. So that's GREAT, but they did notice that my placenta is within 2cm of the cervical OS? (Not sure what the os stands for) So because it's within 2 cm it's considered low lying. They can't call it Placenta Previa yet because I'm still early in the gestation age. I'm almost 14 weeks. But they said that that can be what's causing the bleeding, but they're not sure. They don't see any other signs of bleeding anywhere. And of course 16 hours after the sonogram I started bleeding again. Now it's just brown. I have yet to talk to my regular OB/GYN, of course she's off today. Very aggravating. I'm not sure what she's going to say yet. I'm sure if I keep bleeding she'll want me on bedrest at some point. She won't be in until tomorrow. I'm sooo happy the baby is doing great, but everytime I bleed it's so emotionally draining on me. If anyone has any encouraging words I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

Re: UPDATE RE: bleeding/abruption/hemmorage
I understand what your going through. I was diagnosed with Placenta Previa when I was pregnant too. I ended up on bedrest due to bleeing. I was around 26 weeks. It wasn't alot of blood but I was bleeing. Then around 31 weeks I passed a blood clot because apparently I was still bleeding from the last time it just wasn't coming out. I ended up having the baby at 35 weeks because I was bleeding and there was no way to stop it. The Dr said I was having an abruption.
Stay off your feet as much as possible.

Re: UPDATE RE: bleeding/abruption/hemmorage
Bleeding after exams is pretty common. I'm glad you got it checked out for your peace of mind. Hang in there!
