what is it about the infant carrier?

Ryan slept from midnight to 5am in his carrier, when he's in his bed he is up every three hours and all he does is moan and wriggle around, I don't get it! Why do they love the carrier so much?? I wish he could sleep in there all the time!

There is no reason he can't. I had one of the best nights when my girls were newborn when they slept in theirs,

Sounds like he likes to be confined.

thats exactly it. alot of babies like to feel snuggled and secure just like the womb. he must find the crib big and scary. both my kids LOVED to sleep in their carrier.

I agree, the carrier is more womblike. I say either bundle him or let him sleep in the carrier since it mimics what he slept in for 10mos.

Re: what is it about the infant carrier?

what about getting the sleep positioners for the crib maybe that will help in the crib if not I would let him sleep in the carrier. MY DD always slept better in her swing ans thats where I let her sleep alot of the time

I've also heard the carrier recommended for babies with reflux, I think its something about the angle...

This is the only thing that allows Roman to sleep 11 hours a night. I am dreading when he no longer fits in it. Then what??? I am actually going to the ped . next week and will ask for suggestions.

I agree.. Ryan hated his bassinett, so he slept in his carrier for the first 2.5 months... He was a great sleeper (for the most part)
