Those with older and younger children - toy warning

A two year old died from swallowing the magnetic beads in the Magnetix toy.

So sad, and so bizarre since it was not from choking.

I almost got this for Christmas for one of my older nephews who has an 9 month old sister...so scary. Chat Icon

WOW! How horrible!!! I was looking at these for Luke and its right up his alley toy-wise but I have to think about my daughter when I buy things sometimes, shes 17 mths and I knew he wouldnt get much playtime with it b/c of her being around. Thank you for posting this, you confirmed exactly why I didnt get it. That poor family.

ETA: I reread the story again and am truly horrified at what swallowing those magnets did to that boys intestines. That is definitely more than a choking hazard
