Grocery Shopping (Poll)..
If its just you and DH about how much a week do you spend? Sometimes I feel its cheaper to go out and eat!

Tough to tell cause I can go 2+ weeks without going grocery shopping.
But when I go... i buy BIG. Easily over $100 buks. Sometimes over $200!

It's so hard for me to figure. We dont' go to the supermarket for a big shopping very often. I tend to run to the local grocery store to pick up things as I need them. That's the convenience of living a block from Queens Blvd. However, I go to a Kosher supermarket every 3-4 weeks to stock up, and that costs around $100 each time, b/c Kosher meat is SO expensive!

we don't go once a week, we go do a big shopping every other week or 3 weeks, and I'll do little trips in between for meat, milk, oj, craving foods....

Ours varies like that too- I bought a ton a few weeks ago, lots of meat and I made sauce to freeze. I don't do big shopping every week.
ETA- we used to go out and get take out a LOT so even spending $100 a week is better than even casual places- it really adds up fast! DH and I were stunned to see what we'd been spending in restaurants.

We spend about $300 a month at the grocery store and usually make a trip to Sam's every 4-6 weeks and spend a couple hundred dollars but that's not always grocery items only. That can be dog/cat food, litter, house needs, etc.

I just put in my fresh direct order... now that I am doing the online thing, it seems my expenses has gone down as I'm not so prone to impulse purchases.
I just spent $80 but at least $25 of it was meat b/c I bought snow crab legs and wahoo (it's a type of fish). I love Fresh Direct b/c they have such a GREAT variety of veggies & meats!!! If they deliver to you I HIGHLY recommend it!!!

I have absolutely no idea  If I had to guess, I'd say we average about $80 a week.
I can go to the store and spend anywhere from $40 - $140 plus there's the big trip to costco every 3 months that runs us about $250-300 on paper goods, personal care and cleaning products.
