Prenatals and Folic Acid
I am taking Flintstone vitamins which have 400mg of Folic Acid. I am also taking a 400mg supplement of Folic Acid. Is this too much. Also, if so, what are the side effects of too much folic acid?

most prenatals have 800-1000mcg of folic acid so no you're not over dosing on it.

Your body will eliminate extra folic acid in your urine. No worries about taking too much.

I am taking two childrens vitamins (the gummy ones, lol) and a folic acid. I didn't think you could overdo the folic acid. Am I wrong? Am I taking too much?

no my dr says the prenatals are enough, but even if i took the prenatals and the folic, it wouldn't hurt
