JFK airport
My Moms flight is delayed 3 hrs so she wont be here until 8 pm or so my sister gets in at 5 pm so I have to go & get her - is there anything that we can do in-between besides sit at the airport? I am not at all familiar with the area and I know some parts over there are not so good. Suggestions welcome.

Get on the Belt Parkway east to Sunrise Highway exit. Go about 2 miles east on Sunrise to the Greenacres mall.
Get on the Belt Parkway west to Crossbay Blvd. South. Have an early dinner in Howard Beach.

Since it costs so much to park at the airport I would pick your sister up and go have dinner somewhere.
I am sure if you go down Sunrise Hwy there are tons of places. I have been gone too long to make any suggestions though.
