my little girl has baby acne! need help
Olivia is starting to get baby acne yesterday she had one pimple today she has three, i put johnsons baby shampoo on a wash cloth and cleaned her face yesterday and today but was wondering how much shampoo on a washcloth i was using a dime size and a damp wash cloth is this correct?

My sister use to put it into the palm of her hand and mix it between her too hands and then put each hand on each cheek and do little circles careful to avoid the eyes. And then she take a towel after about 30 seconds and wash it off. Allows the soap to do its job.

It is VERY common..it is your hormones leaving her body.Nothing serious. A little aquaphoor and time and it will be all gone.

Julia had a few when she was a few weeks old, I didn't put anything on them and they went away,I just used a damp washcloth. I just feel creams and stuff make it worse. JMO

Not much worked for us. I used J&J baby shampoo but it dried her face out too much. She really just has to grow out of it, its a hormonal thing.

I recommend J&J shampoo, and then cetaphil cream (sensitive skin) cream.... (it came dermatologist recomended) to make sure it dosent get dried out!!!
Ryan didnt have it bad at all... but I heard j&j is the best solution!

Honestly, the best thing to do is just let it be, usually creams and lotions irritate their little baby skin... Mallory had it really bad and although it looks yucky it doesn't usually bother them and it'll go away

Same here. My son had it pretty bad for awhile too and I tried all stuff and nothing helped it. My dr did recommend Cetaphil cleanser over all others and I still use it today on his face.

Brianna has it now too. The Dr said to leave it alone it will go awy in about 4 weeks on its own

Emily had the absolute WORST baby acne I've ever seen. It was like huge red welts all over her face. I brought her to the doctor beause I was convinced it had to have been something other then baby acne, but it wasn't. The doctor recommended using hydrocortisone cream and once I started using that it cleared up wonderfully. She just has dry skin now, no acne, and for that I use aquaphor.

Talia had it really badly also - I tried everything but it went away on its own at about 6 weeks I think.
