Which are the better ones, i have seen 13, 24, and 30. TIA

24 is good - I went to VS Buck, VS South high. My sister and her friend teach in the district too

13 is excellent. I have family that live in Malverne and this is their SD. Valley Stream North I think it is..

I went to Valley Stream school districts from grades k-12 and I loved it there. Really nice schools and great teachers. It was #13. HTH!

I'm not familiar with the schools, but I currently live down the block from VSN HS and the area is the area I'd LOVE to stay in forever....
This is a GREAT post.....another HUGE PLUS to us staying here!

I just moved to Valley Stream.. right on the border of Malverne.. My son will be attending school in district 13.. I only hear great things about the schools in this district and look forward to him starting there in September

All the valley stream school are good, Im partial to 24 because its a small district with lots of programs. the gibson area is secluded and very quiet...
Little private community feel....

School district #13 is excellent- it's Valley Stream North. Being a former teacher myself, I was adament about picking an excellent school district for my children.

Valley Stream district #13 can be either Memorial JHS and Central HS or VS North HS depending on where you live. District #24 is usually VS South I think and district #30 is mostly memorial and Central. As far as the elementary schools go I think all of the districts are pretty good. I went to elementary school in district #13 and Memorial for JHS.
