It's in Centerport on 25A - The Mill Pond House - I am sure people could walk, but what are the odds of that?
I just think some of these business owners are bizarre is all.

I believe it!!!! people dont like to feel trapped in and would rather eat out. as for us we are cancelling our dinner plans, thats how it should be, the workers are risking their lives driving in this.

My husband is out plowing now, and he said that even though were having a blizzard, there are idiots going to all the stores where he plows the lots. Pier 1, Best Buy, etc.
Stay in people, theres no reason to be outside today,

DH has already been to the 7-11 on bell blvd where the bakery and a couple of other things were open as well as the deli on our corner. The snow is just about over here (bayside) and the plows have been through the area a bit (even in front of our place which rarely gets plowed and never on the day it actually snows).

but it was only a 3 block walk.
our fresh direct delivery was cancelled so we don't have any food

Thats crazy! My dad is a chef, but thankfully his boss closed the restaurant today. I know he was not looking forward to maybe having to drive from Islip to Port Jefferson in this weather.

DH had called this morning and they said they were open, so he drove there and worked for 3 hours...all reservations were cancelled and the owner told them to close and go home.
