6 week pp check up
What did your Dr. do?
I know my Dr. is an ***, but he didn't even examine me. He gave me bc pills and told me to come back in a month. I need a new Dr.

He didn't do a full exam but checked to see how the episiotimy healed and checked my belly. Then he spoke to me about birth control and told me to come back in 6 weeks to do a full exam (pap smear)

I had a pap at mine but even though I was due for one I think they do them anyway.
She checked my breasts and my tear and my hemmi problems because I asked her too.
Then she spent about 30 min talking with me about how things were going and how I was adjusting.
I use a midwife though and I would not expect this kind of time from a doctor, the whole reason I didn't use one.

I used my regular ob/gyn. She checked on how the episiotomy was healing, my breasts, my belly, etc. She discussed mammograms & told me to be sure to set up an appointment once I've stopped breastfeeding and asked how I was coping with the baby, any feelings of sadness, etc.

He checked my incision (I had a c-section), did a breast exam, talked about how I was feeling and gave me bc.
