Question about introducing foods....
What was the order in which you introduced foods, and at what age?
What did you introduce after cereal?

Andrew started fruits a little after 3 months. I have been giving him a different one each week until I can rule out allergies.
The ped said to wait until next month to start veggies. Now he is on cereal 2x and fruits 2x a day.

Ok, see, now my ped. told me meats at 4months because she has allergies and that the fruits and veggies should come around 5 months. I've been doing research, and it does say you can start fruits, veggies or meats at 4 months, but I was just wondering what everyone else's ped.s said.

My ped starts babies on cereal and fruits at 3 months and then 4 months veggies and then 6-8 months meats. Who knows
Everyone say's something different. It's so confusing!!!!
My first ped said don't start anything not even cereal until 6 months so who knows

We did pretty much the same things at the same times. Our pediatrician wasn't concerned with what order we went in after cereal.

I also don't have experience with allergies. But, my only suggestion though is to try the vegetables before the fruits, so DC doesn't develope a "sweet tooth". Also, it seems that we all do something a little different, so def do what makes you feel comfortable, DD will let you know!

we started with rice cereal a few weeks before 4 months old and her gas was TERRIBLE. We waited and switched to oatmeal and it was GREAT.
Then we did pears. Bananas are easy too but the constipate. anything that starts with P will make the poopie runnier.
ETA: for veggies, start with the yellow/orange then move to green.

4.5 months cereal
5.5 months veggies, then fruits when she was done with the vegs...
just started meats a little after 6 months. and only the stage 2 combo dinners, not the stage 1.
ETA: we started yogurt at 6.5 months.

It's so funny how all peds have different suggestions.
We started oatmeal at 4 months (ped said to skip rice since DS already has pooping issues). She said don't bother with any other cereals if he likes the oatmeal.
Green Vegetables at 5 months, followed by other vegetables, then fruits.

meats: 7 mos
yogurt: 8 mos
However, I have read in every baby book I have that starting meats first is completely fine.
