The old wives tale of heartburn means the baby has hair...
Has anyone heard of this before? I thought it was another cute tall tale!!!

My MIL had none but did grow hair all over her body in places she didn't want it when she was preggo with DH. And he is one hairy Mo'Fo
She says I can look forward to this when I have his children.

I never had heartburn, my son came out with tons of hair. Even the sono tech said this baby is gonna have some head of hair.

It doesn't really make sense as the baby is in a sac so I doubt you can feel hair through that

I've heard of it.....I've had nasty heartburn at night the last few weeks and I know I was born with a full head of hair! I hope she has hair!

my dd was born with hair but not alot, and i had heartburn with her, but my ds was born with no hair, and i thought the heartburn was going to kill me it hurt so bad. so i dont think its accurate.

I had HORRIBLE heartburn with my daughter and had to take medication for the last 3 months, she had almost no hair, so it wasn't true for me.......

me too!! My hearburn was so bad for a while it actually hurt more than my contractions and Talia had a TON of hair!

I had heartburn horriifically (if thats even a word)... tums up the ying yang, kidney stones to show for it, and my little guy is a hairy little guy!!!!
