Do you think that some people...
will react to a person more than a person's post?
Like if someone says something perfectly correct and reasonable, they're reject it because it's someone they don't like, or they'll assume bad intentions?
I think I've been guilty of this in the past, where someone tried to say something helpful to me and I took it as attitude b/c it was someone I didn't like or thought didn't like me.
On the other hand I'm sure there are people who see my SN and  regardless of what the post says and how valid it may be.

I wanted to add that this post is not itnended to flame anyone. I think it happens all the time with lots of people, and when it happens it usually goes both ways.

IMO this happens quite a lot on here
but in turn....there is enough smart azz comments for one to get the two mixed up..
this is why i like the FM feature
more people...when in doubt...should use it to clarify

Much like real life (like Tania said) you "tune out" those whom you don't really care for and tend to pay attention to those you do. With that said, I try to give everyone a chance...even those I don't like so much.

yes!
i will admit, I have changed my views about alot of people and that has made me a nicer poster and less argumentative to people i used to argue with or take posts the wrong way.
if someones me friend, im less likely to argue with them, or i will argue more amicably.

yea dont you know i am one of them...LOL I kid j/k  I Agree i think alot of people pass over other threads. FOR example: they are like here she/he goes again posting the same thing haven't we heard this before or it can be something that they are not interested in. For me i post on everyone's thread weather i like them or Not!
IMO passing over threads because you find a poster annoying or their posts annoying is different..
and rather smart as to avoid exactly what this thread is about...the natural jump to conclusions and possible misinterpretations
