Teachers - if you're off tomorrow- are you now losing a day from somewhere else?
I'm now losing the Friday of Memorial Day weekend! I know I'll be annoyed then!! LOL

We have four snow days built in... so we aren't losing any. Right now, we have two extra days tacked on to memorial day weekend.

we have three snow days built in and now this is the 2nd we used- the first was that Dec "Rain Day" With our district though, we dont use them, we lose them- they are not added back on for us...
I wish we had the Friday for Memorial Day... we never get that!

Wow! We technically don't have any snow days tacked on - and we start school earlier than any other district!

i don't think i actually get enough vacation for them to take any days away
I only have a 2hr delay today... but we still have 1 more snow day, which, if we don't use, we'll just loose.
I was really hoping to have the day off since we don't get any vacation until our skimpy 3 days off at spring break

I'm curious- how come all of the teachers don't have the same snow days and holidays? i thought it would all be the same since you are union?

each school has a different teacher's union, so each union comes up with a different agreement.
We personally have 4 built in school days, and have only used 2, so we son't lose any days becasue of this.
