Cheapest airfare to Vegas?
I know sometimes carriers like MidWest, or the other not-so-popular companies have great rates.
Any suggestions, other than Southwest, JetBlue, Spirit?

woah - Jet Blue is nearly $800 round trip 
(This is for August, by the way. We have free hotel vouchers, we just need to pay airfare!)

yeah, they're only giving me major airlines (like America Air, etc), not discount airlines.

Wow! That's expensive. I just booked our flights for July through JetBlue and we paid less than $600 for the both of us!
Try America West as well.

I just paid 500 a ticket about a month ago to go to vegas in april.
It was jetblue..
It was the cheapest public fair last month..
depending on when your going it probably wont be much less..
Crazy right?

Yeah, it's insane.
We may use the hotel voucher in another place - we can go to Florida for 1/2 that price, and 1/2 the travel time. We can only get away for a long weekend (between school and work), so I want to spend as much time as possible actually DOING things.

Remember when even fares to florida were cheap... its been so insane lately.. it's like you have to save for a year to buy a freaking plane ticket.
