I am making one last pitch to find a home for my grandmother’s dog, Fawn. She is a 7 year old female Pomeranian mix who is loyal and affectionate. She craves attention and is a good companion. She has a lot of energy and is very alert. As my grandma is now living permanently in a nursing home, it would mean a lot to her and to me to find Fawn a loving home as I cannot keep her. I am moving this Sunday and need to find her a place to live or take her to the City shelter, which I hope to avoid.

I posted an ad on petfinder.com, but received 6 suspiciously similar replies offering to take Fawn to Canada?! I was hoping for a tri-sate area adoption as Fawn has never traveled further than Manhattan! Perhaps the City shelter will be a better option.
