There is so much about 9/11 all over the TV this weekend
it's still so hard to watch. I don't think any amount of time will lessen the pain

I cried my eyes out thru primetime or what ever was on last night- with the kids who never met there Dad- it was too much!
it's the personally stories that hurt me the most- I am very empatheic to loss and losing a parent

there is actually something on the discovery channel right now about flight 93...
the fear and pain i had that day will forever be with me. Hoping and praying that my dad would come home, b/c no one heard from him...he came home pale as a ghost drank two scotchs in less than a second and said..i watched the whole thing from my office window.

I rented on HBO a documentary about 9/11. I cried the entire time for all the people who lost their lives and for all those families.
It is just so sad that unity that we had for a few months, seems to have disappeared over time.

I can't watch anything that has to do with 9/11. We intend to keep busy this weekend outside the house and keep away from any 9/11 related shows.

has anyone else heard that CNN is going to be airing their news coverage from that day again on 9/11? a friend told met his but not sure where he heard it...
i personally think it's a terrible idea, no one wants to re-live that

they just said on Bill Mahr's show - that it's only going to be on line- not the channel

I heard ABC has been playing all week the commercial of the memorial. I am in FL and dont think it will be broadcasted down here. I did however take the day off from work as a mental health day and to I really want to watch the memorials. I'll be tuned into CNN since that maybe the only chanel I'll be able to watch anything.

I dont know if I could handle that. I had to live it once and I remember how much of a basketcase I was and not sleeping for days because my eyes were glued to the television wishing it was just a nightmare and it just couldnt be real. I dont know if I could sit and watch it all over again. I just want to really see the memorials.

I still get goose bumps from watching this and i remember that day like it was just yesterday. I can still smell the air afterwards (because we were living in S.I. at the time by the water) having that tinny smell...
