I feel like my insides are being smushed...

Has anyone else had this? I'm 17 weeks and Friday I had really bad pain in my side and lower belly. I thought it was round ligament pain but then yesterday and today I feel like I've done 1,000 sit ups. I'm only 5' tall and have a very short torso and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it? It feels like my organs are all being smushed together. Anyone else experience this? If so, does it go away? I have an appt with my OB on Wednesday but I'm considering calling her tomorrow because this is somewhat painful and very uncomfortable.

I am tiny too and this whole pregnancyu everything has felt squished in me... I hope all is ok! Let us know

I can't remember when the pain started but it was above my uterus by my rib cage. My ob/gyn told me that it was my organs being squished together - completely normal. I felt like if I could just push the baby down (not an option - I asked), it would feel better.

Not sure if this is the same feeling you're getting. When it doubt, always call though.

That's because they are... and gets worse. I had my lamaze class this weekend and I saw what the baby does to your organs. Let me tell you... my bladder is as flat as a pancake now. But it is all meant to be... this has happened to women since the beginning of time! You will be OK.

Thanks ladies.

I called the dr. this morning and they said I should have called Saturday. I will need to go in today so she can make sure everything is ok. I feel a little better today but now that I'm up and about the pain is back again.

I'll keep you posted.
