That picture of a beach in your profile? Is that Siesta Key in Sarasota - my parents live there. My grandparents also did. I got there alot. I am on the east Coast Port St. Lucie. I love Florida but I miss NY

Yes it is. I love Siesta. I work in Sarasota and live in North Port. Port St. Lucie is right across the state from us  I have a vase filled with sand from siesta and shells from englewood. The sand is just amazing.
I love FL too but I do miss certain things of NY. My family is still up there. I miss the food. Whenever I go up to visit I always come back with dozens of bagels.
How long are you down here?

I have heard alot about Northport - my parents are begging us to move there.
We have been in Florida since 2003.
First in Delray Beach now PSL.
We moved to PSL last year we built a new house.
How about you?
I see that your user name has Harley in it - I guess you ride my fiancee does he owns a 05 Softail Springer. He loves it. I only ride on the back with him.
I am lucky I can drive a car nevermind a motorcycle - I am a real city girl at heart.

It's a great little town. It's building up fast.
We've been down since April 2004. We bought the land in Feb 2002 with full intentions of coming down just not sure when.
Then we moved down in April 2004 (he did while I stayed behind to finish packing) and then I came down a month later while I tied up loose ends. We had the house built as well. We signed the papers to build July 5, 2004 and moved in July 15, 2005. We came down and the hurricanes quickly followed.
DH rides and I hold on tight. He has a 76 sportster. The only thing original on that bike is the frame. He tore it apart and rebuilt it. It's all custom work. He's looking to get rid of it and get a newer bike. Either a softail or a fat boy. As long as it's not a hard seat, has a sissy bar and I can just relax is fine with me.
You sound just like me, I'm a city girl. I can barely drive a car yet alone a motorcycle. I like holding on tight
The helmet law bothers me though. I know my helmet isnt much but it just gives me a sense of security.

We do sound alot alike - I have not ridden with him in awhile.
He had an 04 RoadKing Classic that I enjoyed riding on was a big bike.
He wants to build his own.
