Does anyone know of any walk in medical centers on LI?
I don't have a Dr. on Long Island and I've got a terrible sore throat and am losing my voice. Does anybody know if there is a walk-in center or any place like that where I can either make an appointment or walk in? I would go to the hospital but it is not an emergency.

There is one on RT. 110 in Amityville just north of the Southern State. If you take the Southern state to the 110 exit North it's on the right hand side(up about a 1/4 of a mile, not far) in a little strip mall.

I know of a Dr. office in Smithtown that takes walk-ins between 8:30 and 9:30 every
morning, M-F.
eta: Also, there is a StatHealth facility on the corner of meadow rd and rt25 in Smithtown (right by the bull.)
