How quick do you read a book on average?

it was one a day now its gone down to one a week.

It really depends on the book but on average I would say a book in 5 - 7 days but I do 95% of my reading on the railroad which is about an hour a day.

Something big like the much anticipated Harry Potter 6 will take me longer.

Depends on the book. A few books I've read in a day or two.

I have been reading Angels and Demons for a few months then forgot where I placed the book. Then I started The Da Vinci code, I started it 1 month ago and havent gone pass page 30.

I can only read right before bed or when DS naps (and I'm off of work) so 1-2 weeks.

Depending on the book 1 to 2 days. I am in the process of reading 4 books right now, since none of them have have gotten to good parts or sucked me in. I could read a good book that pulls me in, in 3 hours.

Usually about a week. Unless I'm struggling to get through it.

I really don't know how people can read a book in a day? I wouldn't be able to do anything else. Where do you find the time and are how big are these books?

I will usually read about 3-4 books a week. I mostly speed read, but after signing up for kindleunlimited i have started to use the free audiobook. Now i will listen to books while im folding laundry, cleaning etc. The plus is that i can clean my home and read at the same time, but it has slowed me down with how many books i can get through. Its good though because im not sacrificing my sleep to get through a book. The more kids i have had the harder it is to find time to read. Haha!!

About 3 days if I cant put it down. I read late at night, I cant sleep so I read lol.

Anywhere from 1-4 days normally... I read on my hour long lunch at work and then before bed, so I get through books pretty quickly.

How did this get bumped? I read the comment "Something big like the much anticipated Harry Potter 6" and I was like WAIT there's MORE coming?! I got so excited! And then sad. I know there's the other books- like The Tales of Beetle and Bard, but it's not the saaaaaaaaaaaame.

Anyway, it depends on the book. Usually about a week. Though I started a book on Sunday morning and finished it Sunday afternoon this weekend.

Usually a week. I really only read on my commute to/from work. If I REALLY like a book, I will stay up half the night and finish it in a day.

It depends on the book. I do not think I'm a fast reader but my husband is amazed at how much I read. We are each so different. I have to be very disinterested before I'm willing to just skim and miss words. Before I started a book discussion group, I was reading so much and now I'm in a different phase and I spend the whole month reading the next book. I want to get back to doing more reading by my own choice as well. Not everything will be appropriate for the group. I want to read about some history of my religion, etc.

Depends on the book, if its really good, Ill stay up until the wee hours of the night to finish it. On average though, 3-4 days.
