Loss of a loved one and the holidays - Question
this year is going to be a tough one for both families (mine and DH)... we lost my grandfather in June and his grandmother in October... we are having low-key holidays this year, but i want to do something special to remeber them...
what do you do for your lost love ones during the holidays? any ideas? (besides grave blankets..)

I don't know if this helps but we always put an ornament of a Polish Eagle with my grandparent's name on the tree every year. It makes me remember them.

Sorry about your losses
I got this ornament made up in memory of my Dad with his picture. I also got one for my Mom, Sister and brother, so everyone will have something in memory of him on their tree.

I usually put down a grave blanket for my mom on christmas day. You can always light a candle for them at church or at their grave site.

sunday, we are going to the cemetery for a bunch of relatives that have passed on in the last few years
On Christmas Day, we acknowledge them during grace.
