new meaning to the first wives club
Sitting around work today and the topic of marriage came up. I cant believe how many people I work with have been married 3 - 5 times.
One woman she is on her 3rd marriage and her husband this is his 6th.
These woman made husbands sound like they go grocery shopping. Didnt like that brand so divorced it and got a different one.

This is why more than 50% of marriges end in divorce.....people dont see it as a life long commitment......they act like marriage has a return policy!

I thought multi marriages was only for Elizabeth Taylor and Erica Cane (All my children)

Its funny you should post this. I was at a wedding a few weeks ago and was hanging out with this very cool girl and her 3 year old daughter. She said she needed a lawyer and that she would contact me when we got back to NY. Yesterday she e-mailed me asking for a referral for a divorce attorney.
This is the second request in a month for a referral for a divorce attorney

oh yuck
I know someone who is 23 and just threw her DH out. They were married a year.
DH's good friend that got married a month after us is seperated from his wife.
I just dont get it

I have a close friend who is divorced with two kids from his first wife, has a child from a girlfriend, and got married in March. Oh yeah, the second marriage is already in divorce proceedings. We must have thrown minute rice at that wedding. Did I mention he's 29!

That is ridiculous. I don't want to judge people. Sometimes it just doesn't work out...but I also know people who have been divroced multiple times, and I think t myself, don't they realize that there's somethign wrong? I mean either they're habitually choosing the wrong partner, or there's something about them that they need to deal with before they can be in a marriage.
