Solution to get cat pee out of carpet
Any suggestions that really work? Long story - litter box was covered and my friend forgot to uncover it. Thanks!

get a new carpet....nothing removes cat pee 
we had to get all new floors when we moved into our house bc the old owner let his cats pee everywhere...

Nature's Miracle works really well. But you have to be patient. You have to soak it REALLY well so it gets down to the padding and then it will be so wet that it will take up to 2 weeks to dry fully.
While it is drying you will still smell the urine- sometimes even worse- as it draws it out.
After it is completely dry the smell should be gone though!
