A Vent and a Rant
Some of you know that I have had a history of M/C's, I was PG 7 times over 3 years with Jenna being my 7th. My body went through alot between being PG and the fertility drugs. With this being said DH promised that once I got the ok from my OB that I could go to the gym so I could get my body back because it hasn't been mine for 3 years.
Yesterday he proceeds to tell me that I will have to restrict my gym time because he is studying for the FDNY Captain test . Ok I get it, but when you need at least 3 hours of studying a day, are working alot of overtime(him) and have a 12 year old that plays sports up the wazoo, when do I get me time? Every time I make a proposal about when I can go, he always has an objection to it. so needless to say I have not been there yet
I hate to sound like a whiner but I really want to get back in shape, I walk with the baby every day andI try to catch some classes on FIT TV but I feel like he doesn't care

How frustrating!!!
I'm sure he cares, but is a bit (too) focused on his own goal at the moment.
Any chance you could trade babysitting with a friend???

Re: A Vent and a Rant
I hired a PT to come to me just for this very reason!! My DH, when he has the oppertunity to be home, would rather my mom come over or hire a babysitter so he can keep any plans he may have like his plans are more important

Re: A Vent and a Rant
Tell me about it Michelle....I haven't seen the inside of the gym for over a year for the very same reason. NO TIME!
Maybe Steve's afraid of being left alone with the baby since she's soo small? Men have a very odd aversion to caring for the tiny tiny infants (well, the big ones too for that matter! )
