We see it in movies all the time. Have you ever chased someone down or been chased down before boarding a plane? Does this really happen?

to answer the question:
When my ex-boyfriend was working in California and we were having problems, I flew out to see him. When I arrived, there he was with flowers and everything seemed PERFECT and right out of a movie...
for about 10 minutes

I hear ya fh and i had a longdistance relationship for a year and we would take turns commuting back and forth . One time when i flew into JFK there he was with 2 dozen red roses so sweet, I mena he didnt run out on the run way and stop the plane lol but it was cute! Evrytime we watch movies like that i tell Fh i hate watching this no man is that sweet and sensative never would happen and he gets po'd at me lol my EX after i broke up with him got dowm on his hands and knees in the middle of the street begging me to take him back lol

Yes, I have seen them on numerous occasions.
Military spouses are allowed to go through security and meet their partners at the gate :)
You should have saw Dh and I on the runway at the begining on the month he had been gone for over 2 months with very little contact. Add to the drama of the reunion that he is the co-pilot and the second to last person off the plane!

Dont know if this counts as a "love scene", but my grandmother was in CA for a few months and everytime she tried to get home, it snowed here or rained. She ended up just staying in CA for over 6 months.
When we got to the airport we all just ran up to her. She was crying. It was so sweet.
She lives w/my parents, and yes they do need that break every year, but we werent planning on her leaving for 6 months.
She's actually starting to plan her next trip out there.
