Anybody watch "I Wanna Be a Soap Star"?
They winner will be on One Life To Live today. I think the winner can't act but I predicted the winner from the beginning.

I had it TIVO'd but then I must have lost the Soap Channel b/c it never recoded any of them
I only saw like the first 2 episodes. Who won?

I didn't want to give it away but the 2 finalists were from Long Island
Mikey and Kelly.
Mikey won. He was from Hicksville.

wow i tivo'd it, cant wait to watch he was totally the underdog im shocked he won..good for him tho  kelly was great im sure she will be hired soon enuff

I watched one episode and then the finale last night. I can't believe he won- he's cute but Kelly was a better actor - although weird herself, sweet, but weird. Weren't they both from LI?
When they showed the clip from OLTL, I will say Mikey seemed a little better.

I think Kelly is from Smithtown.
I am sure they prepped him well for the OLTL episodes. Hopefully he won't stink. I think he is cute though. What a a strong NY accent!

I completely agree on all points. I was really shocked that he won, I thought her last scene (well most scenes actually) were way better than him. I think his "likeability" may get old, he just seems so stiff to me, and when he was trying to cry, I thought he looked ridiculous. Meanwhile, it was a waterfall for kelly! She did go over the top though. I think her "weirdness" just really put everyone off. Oh well, i'm sure she'll find sucess.

Kelly is from Smithtown. She was a good friend of mine when we are young and we still have mutual friends. I am happy for her - she has wanted this her whole life.... I wish i had watched the show!
