Because so many of the lil' ones are 8 months....CHECK IN!
What are they eating? WHEN are they eating? What is their nap schedule like/night time sleeping? Developmental milestones?
DD is pretty much off baby food...if she can pick it up she'll eat it. Breakfast is 7:30am/8 Lunch around 12 Dinner 4-4:30 unless she sleeps late 3 bottles a day, make them 8oz, she leaves 1 oz over normally. Sometimes she'll leave as much as 3-4 oz over
Naps: 2 a day, around 9am and 3pm NORMALLY and on a GREAT day, they can be 2 hrs EACH, on a bad (or work day) that 2nd nap 1 hr IF I'm lucky). Sometimes she'll catnap in the car ride home around 5pm for 10 min or so.
Bedtime: closer to 7pm and sleeps till 7am...the last few nights she hasn't woken up too much...moves around ALOT.
Milestones: starting to cruise around furniture. Will let go with one hand when she's pulled herself up. Walks funny with assistance. Teething again. Tantrums are starting to show, showing preferences for things (food, toys, etc). Separation Anxiety shows at times.

Re: Because so many of the lil' ones are 8 months....CHECK IN!
Shana, I like this . Sydney will be 8 months on Sunday. She wakes around 5am! and has to have a bottle close to that time (6oz). Sometimes she will take a nap around 630 and that lasts like 1/2 hour. Around 9 she will have breakfast - bottle, oatmeal, and fruit. Around 2ish she will have lunch - bottle and stage 2 meat, veg, or fruit. At daycare she naps usually 1-3 and then eats --- at home never! Dinner at 6 and bottle at 7 and bed at 8. She is very close to crawling. She gets around by scooting on her tush, or sliding on her knees, or rolling to where she wants to go. She is nosy and inquisitive and into everything and seems to have a long attention span and focuses on things. She has two teeth and crazy unruly hair and I think she is close to 20 pounds.

Re: Because so many of the lil' ones are 8 months....CHECK IN!
Okay we play too...
Noah eats very little. He loves anything like Spag Bol, lasagne, chicken and noodles, but he will only have around 5/6 bites, sometimes he will surprise me and have like half a jar, but he will ALWAYS schlurple down a whole yogurt...he likes bread sticks and peaches.
He eats brekkie at around 7.30 am on his playmat while watching GMTV or BBC Morning news, sometimes we watch baby TV. For brekkie he usually has Weetabix with milk and some fruit in it. Lunch is between 12.30/1 ish and dinner is usually around 5.30.
Naps, ha haha ha, he has one nap usually around 9.30 for 45 minutes to an hour and a half, usually we sleep together on the sofa. At the minute he is awake in the night for anywhere from an hour to 3 hours, he simply wants to play...usually I give him some milk with some painkiller in it because I assume that its teething that wakes him up...I could be wrong, but it has some sedative in it, so he will eventually go back to sleep. He goes down to bed at around 7 after his bath and a lovely bottle of milk. He sings himself to sleep, but to me, it sounds like crying!!!
Developmentally the kid is a superhero, he can crawl, stand up in his crib, he is beginning to think about crusing around the living room. He rolls around and loves to play with his tambourine, maracas, tissue box, and anything else that makes noise. His hair is really long and unruly and everyone we see tells us that he needs a haircut! NEVER I SAY!!! He has 5 teeth, two creepy hick teeth on top and 3 on the bottom. To be honest, he has sailed through teething so far, long may it continue! He says mama and dada (although not in reference to us) and he LOVES to watch Suki & Cornelius (our kitties) and he likes to laugh at the red light on the alarm sensor in the corner of the living room!!!

Ok I'll play. Alex was 8 mos. on 8/28.
Her eating schedule is something like this (give or take 1/2 hr or so):
wakes anywhere from 5:30-6:30 am: drinks 6-8ozs. sleeps again for another hour or 2.
breakfast 9:30-10am: cereal & fruit or yogurt, maybe a slurp of bottle to wash it down .
quick power nap around 11 for 20 min. if I'm lucky.
another quick nap around 1ish for 20-30 min. (this is all usually in the car while we're out & about)
lunch around 2ish: cereal & veggie or fruit, swish of bottle.
sometimes has a little snack of puffs or fresh fruit during the day.
naptime again around 4:30-5 for.. guess what? 20-30 min. (she's always been a quick napper)
dinner 5-5:30ish veggies, cereal, maybe fruit (fresh or jar), maybe some chicken, depends on the day, whatever she feels like trying. getting more into finger foods, likes to pick things up, thinks she's hot stuff now. shot of bottle.
8oz. bottle around 8:30pm bedtime follows.
has been "scooting" for a while & just started "real" crawling several days ago. Our dog Rudy's toys are what entices her to get going!
Not sure of her exact weight, but she sure is a meatball!!!
ETA: Oh yeah, she has 5 teeth! Two fully out, 3 half way out. Also holding herself up on things!

Re: Because so many of the lil' ones are 8 months....CHECK IN!
Here's the update on Jacob:
Wakes at around 7/7:30 (some days it has even been 9am) and drinks an 8 oz bottle. Plays for a while in his exersaucer and watches some noggin. Around 9 ish (if wakes at 7) i give him cereal and fruit.
Naps at around 10ish and that lasts tops 1 hr. Mind you its still in the swing.
Bottle at around 11 (6 oz)...and lunch is around 1ish.. usually a stage 2 dinner and a fruit/veggie. Then we are out and about, and he will nap on and off during the day if I am doing errands. If we are at my MIL's, he will nap (in the stroller) for 2 hours.
Another bottle around 4pm (6 oz) and then dinner around 5ish... usually its a whole jar of lamb (ugghh) and a veggie and dessert. Bath time is about 7, and then its an 8 oz bottle for bedtime at about 8pmish..
He barely eats any table food, hates mostly everything and chokes on everything. I have given him a rice cake here and there to knaw on, and some fruit in the feeder.
Isnt crawling yet, he rocks back and forth and winds up going backwards and spins around. NEVER rolls to get anywhere. Spends most of his days in his walker, so really he isnt on his belly hardly ever. Cannot pull himself up yet either. Does not sleep thru the night either. Wakes up anywhere from 2-4am and it usually takes 2 hrs to get him back to sleep. I dont know if its teething, reflux.. etc.. but it is truly annoying. Still cant find a diaper that doesnt leak so that may be waking him due to the fact he is soaked from head to toe.
He has 2 teeth, the bottom 2.. still waiting for the top 2. He is constantly getting into mischief in his walker, cant hardly catch him he is so fast. Loves chasing the dog. Thats about it for now..

Re: Because so many of the lil' ones are 8 months....CHECK IN!
Carlie was 8 months on yesterday (8-29).
She wakes up anytime between 6:30 and 7 and entertains herself in her crib for a good 15 minutes. She takes her medicine as soon as she gets up and then we get dressed for the day and head out to daycare. She get her first 6oz bottle at 8 am when we get to school (she has to wait an hour between her medicine and eating). She then gets some oatmeal and fruit.
Takes her lunch bottle (8 oz) btween 11 & 12 and her snack bottle (8 oz) between 3 & 4.
SHe LOVES to eat cherrios/puffs throughout the day, but can figure out how to get them from her hand to her mouth.
Carlie gets her dinner bottle at 7 (she only usually takes about 4 oz) and gets a meat and a veggie.
She hasn't really tried "people" food yet, just baby food.
She doesn't really have a set nap schedule. She is the queen of cat naps.
She is trying to figure out crawling. She is scooting backwards. She LOVES to roll around.
We have NO teeth, but I think we are working on that. I see the bottom one starting to come up. She loves Sesame Street and Baby Einstein.
She weighes about 18-19 lbs (we go to the dr on Sat.) She is a CHUNK!

Re: Because so many of the lil' ones are 8 months....CHECK IN!
Logan was 8 months on the 27th. He's up around 6-6:30. Eats breakfast which now consists only of table food and water from a sippy cup. At 8-8:30 he gets a bottle (7 oz.) and will take an hour nap around 9:00-9:30 He drinks a bottle again around 11-11:30 (7 oz.) Depending upon whether or not we are out, and again because I am trying to find things to feed him, he gets lunch around 1:30. Currently, a Yobaby yogurt or stage 2 veggie if I can trick him into eating it. If he didn't eat enough, he gets another 7 oz. bottle. At 5-5:30 he has finger foods/stage 2 dinner (sweet potatoes/turkey, apples/chicken) and water. At 7 he gets a bath and 8 his bedtime bottle. He is also up throughout the night teething...some nights better than others. He has the two bottom teeth. The other night was a record EIGHT times waking up. He is really showing a temper now, especially when he wants the food I am eating. My child is motivated by food...thus his 22 POUNDS, talk about a chunker. I should have biceps like Serena WIlliams by now, but am amazingly still out of shape He is crawling, cruising, and standing with one hand holding on, thus his recent rash of bumps and bruises. He is also chatting up a storm, which makes his speech therapist mom proud
