Doggie GTG?
I have some important stuff coming up on Sunday so I was thinking it would be nice to get out on Saturday -- anyone want to meet at the new doggie park in West Hills??
Gerty, Skew, Ariella -- pretty sure I can count on you guys, no?? If you are available.... Anyone else?

West Hills Website
It would be the directions for the stables --- but the entrance is just before the stables.

I thought West Hills was off rte.110/Northern State area in Huntington and that site says West Sayville.

?? I just looked and it gave the right location -- try again maybe? It's off Sweet Hollow Rd. in (Melville? Old Bethpage?).

Yep, fenced in but really large so they have plenty of room to run - and the grass hasn't been destroyed - yet! LOL.

I'm donating platelets at 8 a.m. and should be done by 11 a.m. - so I could possibly be there by 11 or 11:30 - and have to leave for work by 12:30...but I will show up!

i LOVE coindre though. i am going there tonight and will found out more info about the west hills park. i am still confused as i thought it wasn't opened yet. should be available to meet on saturday, i might even be socialable this time - LOL!.

I like Coindre too cuz Ebs can swim, but I thought this might be a nice alternative since some people are concerned that the place be fenced in. Personally my favorite is Belmont Lake because I walk for a mile with Ebs off the leash but I know that is not for everyone so....

DH couldn't remember this morning if our new refrigerator is being delivered tomorrow or next Saturday and he left the info at home so we'll know tonight....
Hopefully its next Saturday.....

It was great to see you and Gerty - and all the pups of course!! Too bad nobody else could make it -- I guess we don't have to worry about going to a fenced-in place next time!

I went there at around 12-12:30 and one girl was there with her boxer named Bubba... I dont think it was anyone from here. They were saying that the dog run wasnt ready yet. Were there chains on the gates nearest to the parking lot when you went?  Then I heard there was another dog run in West Hills and we drove around trying to find it and we couldnt. But Murphy saw horses for the 1st time and was amazed!

We left around noon. I saw the 2 guys and the girl with the boxer tho - they arrived as we were leaving. We told them they had to circle around the dog run on the left side and go to the opposite side and the gate is open over there. When I went last weekend the regular gate was open, so I didn't know they would be locked today.
Sorry we missed you!! And the other dog run is on the entrance off Round Swamp Rd.

Thats ok... maybe another time. Besides it was a little too warm for Murphy to run too much anyway. I am going to look for the other dog run one of these days too.
