Headaches and Heartburn - Cant Take it anymore

I have been getting headaches every day and having heartburn every day too.

Ive had to take Tylenol every day because if I don't, it turns into a migraine and then I start vomiting (sorry TMI).

I'm getting enough water...I dont know what the problem is.

I called my OB and the nurse said that its OK (?????????) to take Tylenol every day - this doesn't seem OK to me at all!

I was getting headaches every day for almost 3 weeks, then I started going back to the chiropractor. That helped some, but I still get a headache just about every other day or every three days.
And heartburn too! It's not always bad, but I also get all bloated after I eat. It feels like my belly is going to explode

Do you have a hot pack that you can put across your shoulders? Maybe the heat will help to ease any muscle tension that you have and help with the headaches.

Try Galvascone for the heartburn instead of tums.
Also, consider acupuncture for the headaches.

Sorry you aren't feeling too well. I suffered from Migraines before I got PG, Thank goodness I only got a few in the beginning. As far as heartburn...Oh I know the feeling...it wakes me up in the middle of the night. It is so uncomfortable. I try everything, Milk, tums, Pepto Bismol, Maalox...sometimes nothing helps...

I have had the heartburn really bad, and I never ever had heartburn in my life!!!! I have been popping tums like crazy!

I am sorry you are getting headaches and heartburn.
Have you tried having a humidifier in your bedroom, perhaps they are sinus headaches. Just a thought.

For the heartburn...try drinking some milk once you begin getting the feeling, that does the trick for me.

You could also try taking Simethicone. Sometimes getting rid of the gas helps prevent the "stuff" from coming back up in the form of heartburn. I found the liquids (like Maalox or Mylanta worked better than the tablets like Tums). I personally never left home without my bottle of Orange Creme Maalox for the first 4 months. Pepto-Bismol isn't recommended for pregnant women because it has an ingredient that is related to aspirin.

As far as the headaches, I too had really bad one in the beginning. My doctor prescribed Tylenol with codeine for them. It is fine to take it as long as you don't take too much, close to delivery. I found the trick was to catch it before the pain got too bad. If I waited too long, nothing would help. Also be sure you are eating enough. That can trigger a headache as well as not enough water.

Thanks girls. I heard back from my OBs office and they want me to go see my regular doctor. So I'm going Monday evening...hopefully I can hang on til then without too much Tylenol.

I'll try the things you all mentioned for heartburn,.....hopefully something will help!

A diet coke always helped me with my heartburn. Also, I avoided acidic/spicy foods before bed and slept with my head slightly elevated.
