Is teeth sensitivity a preggo symptom? Umm.....I Guess Not - UPDATED

I am in my 2ww and all of a sudden my teeth are super sensitive to both hot and cold things and my boobs are killing me. Could be just plain old pms, but I was just wondering....



Good Ole AF came to town when I was getting highlights today! Oh well......works out well though because I am going to leaving for Las Vegas in a week and now I can drink!

for me not the teeth but the extra soar boobies yes, I always get soar boobs with AF but this time it was def different. baby dust to you

MY teeth were sensive especially on 1 or 2 different days before my bfp-
Also my boobs were pretty sore on the sides.

I remember a friend told me-- who goes to a dentist that is a friend- that a dentist can tell that a woman is prego based on her teeth, so I wouldn't be surprised if maybe you felt something different. If I recall the story correctly-- I think he said sometimes he knows before they know- based on the exam.

I've heard that teeth sensitivity can be a preggo symptom, as can bleeding gums when you brush your teeth!

Hmm Im in the dental field and never heard that a dentist can tell a pregnancy by an exam or about sensitive teeth being a symptom. Im gonna do a search on it. At about 4 weeks and on after you get your BFP you can taste a metallic taste and the bleeding gums dont start ( suppose) till the 4th to 5th month. But I pray you are PG!!!


cant find anything about the sensitive teeth prior to getting AF just after way into the first trimester and yes MINOR bleeding gums in the first trimester if you havent taken care of your teeth. ( floss daily and maintain your checkups)

but who knows everyone is different and these studies arent always accurate.

The sore boobs I've heard about, nothing about the teeth however.

Just a side note, I had the metallic taste in my mouth while on prenatals. I've had prenatals while PG and while TTC and I had the metallic taste with both

And I wouldn't be surprised if you were, I have a "theory" and if you are, it would further prove it.

In retrospect, I realize now that my teeth were very sensitive even before I tested.. and my gums started bleeding shortly thereafter (and have not really stopped throughout this pregnancy which is, in fact, normal)

I'd say it could definitely be a "SIGN"!!

And the sore boobs.. well it could be bad PMS but also could be preggo symptoms too (its sooo hard because PMS and PG symptoms can be SO SIMILAR, it makes ya crazy!!)
