King size bed owners, how do you deal with...
...the fact that the comforter doesnt cover the sides of the mattress? It drives me crazy and Im tempted to go back to a queen unless I find a solution. Anyone have a solution? Where can you get something that fits it - this is ridiculous? TIA

Mine fit ok....but I have found that the "less expensive" ones tend to be an inch or so smaller than others.
i also bought a cal king comforter and it worked much better

Not having that issue. My king comforter and king blanket cover with bed with lots to spare. Is it possible you have a queen by accident?

I had that problem with my queen-sized bed so I went the next size up and got a king comforter. Maybe you could try a california king comforter?

Totally have that issue (we have a very thick mattress) but I've gotten oversized comforters from The Company Store.
DH & I can't actually share a blanket anyway (without killing eachother!!) so we usually have two full-sized on the bed most of the time.

Is your bedding from Pottery Barn? I've found their stuff ran a bit small....We have a queen though and since down comforters are made full/queen we have the same issue - I HATE IT! Drives me nuts. I need to buy a king size comforter and duvet.

California Kings are widthwise shorter and lengthwise longer. So I would imagine a California Kind comforter would only make the problem on the sides of the bed worse. ???

Cal King bedding is the same size widthwise as a regular king...its just longer in the length...
